Ghost Lag...
At first, it didn't really matter. But now as our tunes top out, it comes down to whoever gets the tree. I've already tried resetting the router, modem, ps3 and deleting network cache. Any other tips???
BTW, 6mbps down, 1.5 up, ping: 40

Connect your PS3 with your modem (without router in between).
But the best: FIXED HOST!!! (everyone will hate you)

What does fixed host mean? I've always wondered what the difference is.

Hmm, will have to try this. But don't think my family will be too pleased if I disable the router

Fixed host is basically the same as the regular host. But if he leaves the room, instead of someone else being the host, everyone gets disconnected

It's way more than just that.DLR wrote:

If it's set to fixed host, the whole traffic will go over the host. As following the host is always the person who gets the data first, which means a huuuuuge advantage in "reaction" time.
