Mods, thanks for the sticky!
This is the drag racers dictionary VER. 4. It will contain the most used terms in GT5 drag racing. I have started with a few terms but I know that I am missing some terms, but this will only be beneficial if you suggest terms to be added to the dictionary. Thank-you.

VER. 1 - Beginning terms added
VER. 2 - new terms added, thank-you to eightlives, and tazarii
VER. 3 - new terms added, thanks to DLR and Mikeybc
VER. 4 - new terms added, thanks to slashfan

E.G. My Enzo has an auto tune.
Bog: Car attempted to launch but immediately lost power
E.G. Restart the race, my car just bogged.
Emergency Lane - The shoulder lane of the tunnel in SSR7
E.G. The returning racers use the breakdown lane, so as not to interfere with another race.

E.G. Can you please ghost us?
Ghost Lag: A delay in the communication between your connection and the connection of the ghost or other racer.

E.G. I just got I lag bump there lol!

Power band: A graph that shows what power an engine produces at various RPMs.

I like them! Thumbs Up

EDIT: This dictionary would also be good for the SSR7 section. Is there a possibility to create a direct link instead of a new regular thread?

Suggestion as a v5 edit. I have a few terms that may be included:

Ghost Launching: A tactic used to launch as you are transparent to make your launch smoother. Generally frowned upon. Ex: "Stop ghost launching!"

Pull: When your car catches up to your opponent very rapidly after your launch. Ex: "Nice 3rd gear pull."

Shift Lag: Delay between your shifts if your car is geared wrong. Usually fixed by transmission tweaks. Ex: "I had shift lag, line up again."

Run That Back: After a good race or a bad launch, someone may say to "Run that back." or to re-race.
