Sleeper Cars?
What are some good sleepers that aren't very common? I surprised people with the Countach and Lotus Carlton I want to know what cars are with upgrading and tuning
Re: Sleeper Cars?
It is the racd to find those cars isn't it..... most of the ones that i thought had potential, had major flaws that make them slow... like no turbo upgrade or just the sheer lack of power.. I've been mostly looking into 4wd sleepers but haven't found any yet which compare even with evos or sti's... when i get back from my trip I will post some I found.

FWD:
AWD:
RWD:
- Honda Accord Ex (massive power)
Dodge SRT4 (even more power)
Trial Celica (low weight, very good for 1/4 mile)
AWD:
- Mitusbishi 3000 GT MR '95 or this one: 3000 GT VR-4 Turbo '96?
Subaru WRX Sti Spec C 04 (legend)
RWD:
- Lotus Esprit (the 350 one was brilliant in GT4, but in GT5 the premium v8 may be the best)
RUF Yellowbird (faster than you think)
Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 (must be the 7.3, not 7.0)
Shelby Cobra (surprisingly ignored by the most)
Shelby Series One (amazing launch)
Ginetta G4 (274hp car which can go faster than 200mph on a long straight)
Sambabus

Midget II lol. I put some time into that. The Spirra canbe prett quick too, and not many people use that. Pretty competitve with well tuned Muscle. That GT-R Pace Car is pretty fast too.

3000GT of any year, pick them up in the UCD, and when properly tuned they can destroy evo's/sti's. Another good one is the Tommy Kaira ZZ-S, excellent for catching people off guard in low power JDM rooms

ZZ-S? The little ugly thing? Sure that you're not talking about the ZZII?GhilliePepper wrote:

That might be possible. I'll have to try that. Also, welcome Ghillie, been wondering when you'd get on a forum. I've seen you around before.

Re: Sleeper Cars?
Yeah but how much does the ZZ-S weigh? And what about it's powerband? Is it good?

Re: Sleeper Cars?
About 850kg if I remember right. Powerband isn't that good, but also not too bad.Slashfan wrote:Yeah but how much does the ZZ-S weigh? And what about it's powerband? Is it good?

Re: Sleeper Cars?
Try roughly 600kg fully modded. 350hp give or take. Will beat some S2000's and a couple of the lower HP RX7's fully modded. Ugly, yet effective. [Insert 2007 "Your Mom" joke here]

Oulim motors spirra. Very rare one, but it has incredible launch and it beats RX-7's and supras quite easily on 1/4. Lacks the top end for SSR though

I'd say it will. My RX7 is quite fast and it still gets killed by the spirra. Not 100% sure though. Try it!

Ok, I believe you. But the Spirra puts up a real fight with most of the rx7's. Guess my rx just ain't fast enough for a good comparison.
By the way slump, I was dragging with you at SSR couple days ago, remenber? I'm (again) switching side.

Re: Sleeper Cars?
I haven't tuned my Spirra lately. I wonder how it fairs against yours PTK. It was just shy of being a tie last time we ran. I was beating you until you changed your tranny again.
